Bush Air Alaska LLC is an on-demand Air Taxi service based out of Lake Hood in Anchorage, AK. We operate one DeHavilland Beaver, one of the most capable “Bush Planes” around. As a small company, we have the privilege of being able to provide unique and personal service that is hard to find elsewhere. We do everything to make exploring Alaska’s backcountry safe, easy, and enjoyable.

 

Who We Are

 

A lifelong Alaskan, Troy Aumann serves as the Pilot, Guide, Owner and Operator at Bush Air Alaska. Hunting, fishing, skiing, mountain biking, climbing, surfing; if you can do it up here, chances are he’s done it. A love of the outdoors and exploring fostered a passion for aviation at a young age. Now, with nearly 20 years in Alaskan Aviation, Troy has the local and professional knowledge to guide you safely into Alaska’s backcountry. Growing up in this great state has given him a deep love and appreciation for all that Alaska has to offer, and it’s his goal to share the best of it with you.
